How many times in my life have I heard the expression "this too shall pass?" Too many to keep track of. Usually, the expression is offered to me when I am going through a difficult time or when somebody I know encourages themselves to press forward in the midst of their problem. No matter how much I may think it is overstated, it is not. It is a simple truth: the things that happen in this world are but moments in time that pave the way to a much greater glory than we can possibly imagine as children of God.
