Revelation

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

I decided this past Sunday to investigate another church, so I returned to one called Revelation-- which recently purchased a large piece of property that formerly served as the boy Scout Camp in Bozrah, CT. I was greeted in a warm, friendly manner by several people who attend there regularly.

The day I visited they had tables set up outside with various small group offerings (starting up soon). There were some interesting offerings, including one about the book of Daniel-- which has always peaked my interest. I am thinking about joining a group.

I think it is important to have regular fellowship with other believers. The reason I think so is because the Bible says so and also I see the difference in my life (attitudes) when I do. I have been attending another church the past few years, but find something lacking. Perhaps it is not the church at all. Perhaps I just need to go somewhere else to be of maximum service to God. I would say "time will tell," but I find time to be fairly quiet usually. God will tell me when He chooses and I am prepared to listen. The key is prayerful consideration.
